DCON Johnny Cupcakes DragonFly vs 2024 Joker Shirt: Which Tee to Buy

Two DCON exclusives, two different buying decisions

The DCON Johnny Cupcakes DragonFly Shirt and the DCON 2024 Johnny Cupcakes Joker Shirt are both Designer Con exclusives from 3DRetro, but they ask different questions at checkout. The DragonFly comes in only Small and Medium, so the real decision is whether one of those two sizes fits you. The 2024 Joker runs from Small through 4XLarge, which makes it the easier pick if you need a larger size or want a roomier fit.

Price is the other clear split. The DragonFly is listed at USD 10.00 against a USD 20.00 comparison price, while the 2024 Joker is USD 25.00 against a USD 50.00 comparison. Both are discounted relative to their comparison prices, but the DragonFly is the lower-cost entry if your size is available.

What the catalog confirms about the DragonFly Shirt

• DCON Johnny Cupcakes DragonFly Shirt: Available in Small and Medium sizes only. If you normally wear Large or above, this shirt is not an option regardless of price.

• DCON Johnny Cupcakes DragonFly Shirt: Designer Con exclusive release from 3DRetro. The convention exclusivity is the main collector draw, so treat it as a limited piece rather than a everyday basic.
• DCON Johnny Cupcakes DragonFly Shirt: Catalog price USD 10.00, comparison price USD 20.00. It is the cheaper of the two shirts, which matters if you are buying on a tight budget or adding a second tee to an order.

What the catalog confirms about the 2024 Joker Shirt

• DCON 2024 Johnny Cupcakes Joker Shirt: Available in Small, Medium, Large, XLarge, 2XLarge, 3XLarge, and 4XLarge. The broad size run covers most buyers, including those who need extended sizes.

• DCON 2024 Johnny Cupcakes Joker Shirt: Designer Con exclusive collectible from 2024. The dated 2024 release gives it a specific convention-year identity that some collectors prefer over an undated exclusive.
• DCON 2024 Johnny Cupcakes Joker Shirt: Catalog price USD 25.00, comparison price USD 50.00. It costs more than the DragonFly but still sits at half its comparison price, so the value case depends on whether you need the wider size range.

Size range is the deciding factor

Before comparing graphics or collector appeal, check the size chart against the two runs. The DragonFly stops at Medium, while the Joker goes up to 4XLarge. If you are between sizes, the Joker gives you more room to size up; the DragonFly does not.

• DragonFly Shirt: Small and Medium only. Best for buyers who already know one of those sizes works.
• 2024 Joker Shirt: Small through 4XLarge. The safer choice for larger frames, layering, or anyone unsure of fit.

Price and collector value

At USD 10.00, the DragonFly is the lower-risk purchase if you are new to Johnny Cupcakes or Designer Con apparel. At USD 25.00, the 2024 Joker costs more but offers seven sizes instead of two. Neither listing includes fabric content, care instructions, or fit notes beyond the size labels, so base your choice on the size run and the design you prefer rather than assumptions about material or shrinkage.

How to choose between the two

• Choose the DragonFly if:: You wear Small or Medium, want the lowest-priced DCON Johnny Cupcakes tee, and prefer an undated exclusive design.
• Choose the 2024 Joker if:: You need Large or above, want a specific 2024 convention release, or prefer the option to size up for a looser fit.
• Buy both if:: You collect Johnny Cupcakes convention shirts and one of your sizes is available in each. The combined cost is USD 35.00 at catalog prices.
