KAMPIOENEN TEGEN KAMPIOENEN!
The cover art by Peach Momoko alone is worth the pickup—it's got that dreamy, painterly style that pops in person. Storywise, the clash between the old and new Champions sets up some genuinely fun tension, and the old enemy angle keeps the pace moving.
That Peach Momoko cover is an absolute stunner in person—the colors pop way more than they did on my screen. The whole Champions versus Champions setup pulled me in right away and it’s got me curious how that old enemy ties both teams together.
The story finally gives the New Champions a real reason to exist — that clash with the old team is tense, and the twist with the returning enemy actually surprised me. Peach Momoko's art on the variant cover is the main draw, but the interior action holds up just as well.
