I wasn't sure what to expect from the story since it's the start of a Gang War arc, but the pacing hooked me right away. The way Spider-Woman's resurrection is handled with Captain Marvel and Madame Web already sensing she's different adds real weight to the first issue.

The Ejikure cover art is stunning up close—the colors pop way more in person than they did on my screen. The story kicks off with Captain Marvel and Madame Web sensing something’s off with Spider-Woman, and that tension alone sold me on the whole Gang War arc.

The Gang War setup pulled me in immediately—Spider-Man recruiting Jess for a new team has real stakes, and the tie to Captain Marvel and Madame Web makes it feel connected to the wider universe. The Ejikure variant cover has that sleek, almost cinematic energy that stands out on the rack. Solid firs
