DCon's mascot character had gone and gotten a "Japanime"-esque do-over, courtesy of @bigshotklim (for Ben @3dretro and Don @datadub), and sculpted by @bigshottoyworks, with a quartet of colorways previewed+released (in "a small super limited quantity") at DesignerCon 2019 itself!

Vincent comes in at about 6 inches tall and is articulated!

The blue vinyl has this glossy finish that looks way better in person than in the photos. The sculpt is chunky and solid, and it stands on its own without a base, which I didn't expect. Honestly a nice little desk piece.

Wasn't sure about the "Japanime" redesign at first, but in hand the blue sofubi finish looks way better than the photos. The mascot's new look grew on me fast, and it sits nicely on my shelf next to the older versions.

The sculpt has way more detail than I expected for a sofubi this size — the little folds in the mascot's outfit really show off the toy-works sculpting. Paint on the blue version is clean too, though mine had one tiny scuff on the back of the head out of the box. Still glad I grabbed it.
