Compare the Chimeric Dragons Blind Box and Tokidoki Unicorno Lite 2" Liquid Chrome on size, odds, and finish to decide which series fits your shelf and budget.
Quick answer
Choose the Chimeric Dragons Blind Box if you want a larger, dark-fantasy set with clear rarity odds (6 common designs plus 2 secrets). Choose the Tokidoki Unicorno Lite 2" Liquid Chrome Blind Box if you prefer a small, high-gloss metallic figure at a lower per-box price.
Size and shelf presence
Chimeric Dragons figures range from 2.2 to 3.7 inches, so they take up more display space but read as a cohesive group. Unicorno Lite figures stand about 2 inches, making them easier to line up on narrow shelves or desk edges. If you are short on space, the smaller Unicorno format lets you fit more characters in the same footprint.
Finish and visual style
The Unicorno Lite series uses a high-gloss metallic finish that reflects light and stands out under display lighting. Chimeric Dragons are matte PVC with a dark fantasy theme—mysterious creatures that are not quite chimeras or dragons. Neither finish is inherently better; pick the one that matches the rest of your collection.
Rarity and set composition
Chimeric Dragons lists 6 common designs and 2 secrets, giving you a defined pool to chase. The Unicorno Lite listing does not state case ratios or secret odds, so treat it as a blind draw without a published rarity map. That absence matters if you collect by completing sets rather than buying one-off characters.
Price per figure and budget
At catalog prices, the Unicorno Lite box is USD 4.00 (compared to USD 8.00), while Chimeric Dragons is USD 9.99 (compared to USD 19.99). The lower Unicorno price makes it easier to buy multiple boxes, but each figure is smaller. Chimeric Dragons costs more per box but delivers a larger figure and a stated rarity structure.
Key trade-offs to weigh
- Size vs. space: Chimeric Dragons figures are 2.2–3.7 inches; Unicorno Lite figures are about 2 inches. Larger figures have more presence but need more shelf depth. Measure your display area before committing to a full set.
- Known odds vs. open odds: Chimeric Dragons publishes 6 common and 2 secret designs. Unicorno Lite does not list case ratios or secret counts, so you cannot plan a set-completion budget from the listing alone. If set completion matters, favor the series with published odds.
- Finish and theme: Unicorno Lite uses a high-gloss metallic finish; Chimeric Dragons uses a matte PVC dark-fantasy style. Match the finish to your existing display rather than mixing blindly. Buy one box first to test how the finish looks under your lighting.
- Price per box: At catalog prices, Unicorno Lite is USD 4.00 (list USD 8.00) and Chimeric Dragons is USD 9.99 (list USD 19.99). The lower price per box makes Unicorno easier to sample, while Chimeric Dragons costs more but includes a larger figure and stated rarity. Set a per-box budget before chasing secrets or completing a set.
